- Eye: plum red, crimson reflections.
- Nose: black fruits, cassis, blackberry and plum integrated, creamy notes of cedar and vanilla.
- Mouth: fruity aromas, berries, plums, spicy sensations, a soft and generous finish.

The wine with the steak! Kangaroo steak of course! This Aussie simply goes with grilled meat. Not too fruity, not too tannic either. It looks rather velvety, with very nice coffee and cocoa notes. The Lindeman's Bin 50 Shiraz is my personal Rewe red wine recommendation!

4th PLACE: Golden Kaan Merlot 2016
TASTING NOTE Golden Kaan Merlot 2016:
- Eye: Ruby.
- Nose: Intense black berries, plums and a hint of spices on the nose.
- Mouth: subtle aromas of fruit and wood on the palate, fresh, clean and with a long finish wine.

TASTING:
- Eye: bright ruby red.
- Nose: Aromas of delicious coffee, coffee, mocha, sweet vanilla, delicate notes of ripe blackberries and juicy cherries.
- Mouth: Flavor with a wonderful composition. Fine tannins and juiciness. Acidity of fresh fruit.

PAIRING: Burgers, appetizers like steaks, chops, pies.

2nd place: Trapiche Malbec 2018
TASTING:
- Eye: bright red, violet reflections.
- Nose: fruity aromas of plums and cherries, light memories of truffle and vanilla.
- Mouth: round, fleshy, slightly spicy, subtle notes of vanilla and truffle, tasty and slightly tannic finish.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Mendoza.
VINEYARD: Selected vineyards in the eastern area and upper reaches of the Mendoza River, Mendoza Province.
GRAPE(S): Malbec.
AGEING: stabilized and filtered before bottling.
PREPARATION: cold maceration. 23º-26ºC fermentation for 15 days with selected yeasts. pneumatic press. natural malolactic fermentation at controlled temperature.
PAIRING: Grilled meats, pasta, spicy cuisine and semi-hard cheeses such as Gouda, Edam and Gruyère.
